What Is Spamming?
Spamming is the use of any electronic communications medium to send unsolicited messages in bulk, indiscriminately -- unlike sending to a selected group in normal marketing. In the popular eye, the most common form of spam is that delivered in e-mail as a form of commercial advertising. Spam is commercial email or unsolicited bulk email, including "junk mail", which has not been requested by the recipient. It is intrusive and often irrelevant or offensive, and it wastes valuable resources.
Identifying Fraudulent Spams
Key points to note, we strongly recommend that you do not respond, reply or disclose your personal and financial details to unsolicited business propositions or offers if such spamming activities, comes from non-Hong Leong MSIG Takaful e-mail addresses (e.g. from a yahoo.com address); and/or at some stage, money is requested.
